Teddy’s journey began when he was found wandering through a neighborhood, eventually choosing the front yard of a kind stranger to rest. That moment changed his life. He was welcomed inside, given a warm bath, a full belly, and a cozy place to sleep. Teddy loved it all. He showed how deeply grateful he was for safety, comfort, and care—something he may not have known before.
This special boy is still coming out of his shell and learning how to be a pet, but is becoming is the perfect balance: friendly with other dogs without being overbearing, affectionate without being clingy. He acts fine with children. He walks beautifully on a leash—no pulling—and is making great progress with crate training. Once placed in a car, he settles very nicely.
Teddy’s current daily routine in his foster home includes:
-A relaxed mid-morning potty break in the fenced backyard
-Breakfast and a little playtime
-A peaceful nap in his crate
-Afternoon outdoor time, early dinner, more play, and cuddles on the couch
Then it's bedtime back in his crate
Teddy thrives on affection and will return your love tenfold.
If you're looking for a devoted best friend with a grateful heart and an easygoing personality, apply for this boy and feel the warmth of a dog who knows what love means—and is ready to give it back to you every day.
