Meet Ada – A Gentle Sensitive Soul Finding Her Way. She is a young Weimaraner/Lab mix with a sweet, quiet nature. Age: Young
Gender: Female
Breeds: Weimaraner, Pit Bull Terrier
Ada was found tied to a pole, alone and scared on a busy road in Mississippi, unsure who to trust. After a few days, she came to food and water then was able to be rescued.
Now this beautiful silver brown girl is beginning to blossom and is slowly learning that the world isn’t so bad after all.
She’s still a bit shy, but she’s warming up to kind people and loves being around other friendly dogs. Every day, she grows more confident and curious—her tail wagging a little more, her eyes a little brighter.
This precious girl enjoys playtime, especially with other dogs, and is starting to show her playful, puppy side more and more each day. She's currently living with a cat in her foster home and shows no interest in chasing—just curious observation and calm coexistence.
Ada has made great progress in her foster home. After a few early hiccups, she is now housetrained and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. She’s working on her leash skills and learning the ropes of walking on a lead. One thing she’s already mastered? Car rides—she’s fine to travel with!
Ada is still building confidence and adjusting to new experiences. She flinches at loud noises and fast movements, and she finds being left alone tough at times—she may whine at first but settles down with gentle reassurance. If she’s in a fenced yard alone, she might try to escape, but she sticks close when a trusted human is with her.
What Ada truly needs is a calm, patient, loving home that can offer love, consistency, and kindness as she continues to grow. With your gentle voice and sweet words, she’ll meet you with affection and trust.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a tender heart and a playful spirit, Ada is the girl for you.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
