Hanky is a happy, tail-wagging, kiss-giving lovebug who's packed with personality and energy. Now that he's healthy and feeling good after a rough start (including surgery and starvation recovery), he’s truly living his best life—and he's ready to share it with you!

🐶 Dog Friendly?
• Yes—if they’re nice
• If a dog barks at him rudely, Hanky will absolutely bark back (he has standards 😂)

• TBD! Foster is doing a cat test soon

• Absolutely—he loves everyone
• Note: Takes treats with a bit too much enthusiasm (can you blame him after all he’s been through?)

Good with Children: Is playful but sometimes a bit rough with treats - saying over 10 to be safe
Good with Dogs: Yes but is not submissive - may be best as only dog
Good with Cats: Being tested

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - 

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
