Blondie is the very definition of “shy at first, sweet forever.” This beautiful golden girl has come a long way from a difficult past, where she and her sister were left to raise puppies in unsafe conditions. Thanks to the compassion of a kind rescuer and the support of Paws New England, Blondie and her babies were brought to safety—and her journey to healing began.

Now in a loving foster home, Blondie is learning what it means to feel safe, cherished, and part of a family. While she can be a little hesitant at first, her gentle spirit shines through once she feels comfortable. When she bonds with someone, it’s pure joy—tail wags, happy jumps, and a heart full of love she’s been waiting to share.
Blondie even went to her Foster’s office a few days and did well with the other office dogs and all of the personnel as you can see here:

Blondie gets along with other dogs, enjoys playing with kids, and is starting to discover the joys of toys and leash walks. She is house trained with a dog door, so she will need to learn how to give cues when she needs to.
But his foster mom says she’s so smart and eager to please—she picks up on new things quickly and is learning every day.

Blondie is looking for a patient, kind-hearted family who will continue helping her build confidence at her own pace. In return, she’ll give you loyalty, love, and the quiet magic of a dog who’s finally found her forever.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
