This adorable girl was found as a stray and, after no one came to claim her, it was discovered she’d been chased out of a department store. Her rescuer and now foster mom believe she was once someone’s pet, so she’s eager to be part of a family again.
Luisa is doing wonderfully in her foster home. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to romp and play with her foster siblings. She’s more on the submissive side, making her a lovely companion for pups with gentle or playful temperaments. Due to her excitement and energy, she would do best in a home with older children.
Luisa has a sweet daily routine: mornings start with breakfast and a potty break, followed by some toy time while her foster mom gets ready for work. She spends the day resting in her crate and gives the warmest, happiest greeting when her foster returns. At night, she may whimper a bit at first but quickly settles down for a peaceful sleep.
She’s a good traveler in the car, but still learning her boundaries and would benefit from continued training to help her channel her eagerness.
Smart and eager to please, Luisa already knows how to sit pretty for treats and is both housetrained and crate trained. She’s a big fan of nylabones, squeaky toys, and anything that keeps her busy and entertained. Leash training is underway, and she is getting there.
If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and trainable companion, Luisa is a great girl for your home and heart.
