Donatella is an absolute ray of sunshine, full of energy and love! This sweet girl is eager to meet every human she encounters and spreads joy wherever she goes.

Despite her rough start in life—being found tied to a pole in town—Donatella has proven to be incredibly resilient. It's clear she’s had multiple litters in the past, but that hasn’t dulled her spirit or her love for people. She’s a bouncy, playful girl who’s ready to live the best life she can with a loving forever family.

Donatella is extremely friendly and loves attention! She’s a social butterfly, happy to interact with everyone she meets. She’s a big fan of treats, which will make training a breeze! She’s eager to learn, so with a little guidance (and a lot of dog cookies!), she’ll quickly pick up on all the manners she needs. She’s still working on not jumping for kisses and resisting the urge to search your pockets for a snack, but with a patient hand, she'll be the perfect companion in no time.

She walks well on a leash, enjoys her crate time, and seems to be housetrained.

Her affectionate demeanor makes her easy to handle—whether you’re touching her ears, feet, or mouth, she’s a complete sweetheart. Donatella really melts under pressure and becomes the most compliant and lovable dog once she trusts you.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
