Now in a foster home in New England! Midnight is a fabulous sweet energetic senior .

She came into rescue after her owner passed.

This precious girl needed two medical procedures (dental extractions and repair of a ear wound)
She has been an excellent patient to care for by the foster who is also a veterinarian. Midnight has been with the foster living on her farm several months. She is completely recovered now and is more energetic and happier than ever. The difference in her energy was really apparent after her dental surgery.

Midnight is so friendly and even allowed medical care to her ears after surgery with complete ease. She has zero aggressive behavior.

Previous to her present foster home she had been living with another dog in foster. They shared space in the barn together during the day and shared water bowls and treats. At night they are crated next to each other.

She is also housetrained and lovely on a leash she loves to run and play in the yard. She has even started to pick up tennis balls to play. She loves to swim in the lake True to her lab breed, she is interested in the water fowl and chickens and will chase those. So free ranging should be limited.

She is looking forward to a soft and loving place to land. She will be a great companion for an empty nester, older couple, or anyone who appreciates a sweet senior.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
