Meet Bingo: A Playful Powerhouse with a Heart of Gold. This once-forgotten boy is full of energy, affection, and pure joy,

At just a year and a half old, Bingo is already making a name for himself as a lovable goofball and gentle soul. This black and white pitty mix weighs about 60 pounds, and every ounce of him is packed with playful energy, charm, and endearment.

Bingo’s story started in rural Tennessee, where life didn’t begin with belly rubs or playtime. As a puppy, he was kept outside on a heavy chain daily. He didn’t know the warmth of a cozy bed or the joy of running free—just the weight around his neck and the lonely stretch of dirt beneath his paws.

His owner, overwhelmed and unwilling to take responsibility, thought of possibly euthanizing this boy. Not because he had done anything wrong, but simply because he was no longer wanted. But, fortunately, fate had other plans.

He was saved just in time thanks to the kindness of rescuers who saw beyond the chain and into Bingo’s bright, beautiful spirit.

For the first time in his life, Bingo was free to play, love, and be loved in return.

Bingo lives life at full speed—he’s always ready for a game of fetch, a backyard zoomie session, or any opportunity to show off his silly side. His quirky personality and boundless enthusiasm make him the kind of dog who brings instant joy to any room he enters.

But don’t let his muscular build and high energy fool you—Bingo is as gentle as they come. He’s the kind of pup who will barrel into your lap for a hug, then rest his head on your shoulder like a big, snuggly teddy bear.

With his deep brown eyes and goofy grin, he has a way of melting hearts in seconds.

Still young and eager to please, Bingo is full of potential and would thrive with a family that can keep him active, engaged, and loved. He’s the perfect mix of strength and sweetness, fun and affection.

This handsome boy hasn’t let his past define him. He’s ready to write the next chapter of his life, with a family who sees him not as a burden but a wonderful gift.

Note: Bingo just had his tail amputated because he had "happy tail" - would not stop wagging it so it kept hitting things. He also was attacked by another dog and is recovering - he'll have some scars on his beautiful face, but it won't matter!!

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if required.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
