Meet Bean – one of the sweetest, most playful dogs you will ever meet! Bean thrives on attention and loves being surrounded by people, other dogs, and even kids. His joyful personality is great, and he’ll keep you smiling with his energy and affection.Age: Young
Gender: Male
Breeds: Pit Bull Terrier, Boxer
Although Bean’s journey hasn’t been the easiest, it’s no fault of his own. He initially was an owner surrender to a pet store clinic. An employee took him in for a few months, but then had to give him up due to a family issue. Another employee then fostered. He was then adopted, but the resident dog would not accept a new dog in their home and this poor boy was surrendered again. His previous fosters were both unable to take him back, so one of southern fosters brought him home, as she did not want him to going to a shelter.
At first, Bean was a bit nervous around loud noises and quick movements, but with time, love, and patience, he’s becoming a much more confident pup. He still has moments where he’s a little skittish, but he’s doing better every day.
Bean loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a furry friend to play with. He’s friendly, social, and even lived with 3 cats and a young child in his previous foster home, where he got along wonderfully with everyone. He’s house and crate trained, and he’s a fantastic car buddy for trips with his foster family!
This handsome pup is full of energy and absolutely loves his walks. While he’s still a bit of a puller on the leash, he enjoys getting out and exploring on his daily walks. He would do best in a family with other dogs or kids to keep him engaged and entertained. And if you’ve got a big yard for him to run and play in, Bean will be in doggy heaven!
This lovable boy deserves a forever family where he can get the attention and care he craves, and in return, he’ll give you all the love and playfulness you could ever ask for.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
