Meet Queenie – a fun-loving, playful spirit with a heart full of curiosity and energy! This sweet young dog is always on the go, alert to every little sound and ready to explore every corner of her world. Whether it's trotting around the yard or investigating the unknown, Queenie’s inquisitive nature keeps her on her paws and engaged with her surroundings.

Queenie's journey hasn’t been the easiest, but she’s come a long way. She was found trotting up to a vet’s office with another female dog, her ears showing signs of fly bites, and an embedded harness that had been too tight for her. Thankfully, with the right care, Queenie’s fur has started to grow back, and she’s healing beautifully.

Despite her past, Queenie is a friendly and affectionate companion who’s ready to share her love with the right family. She’d likely thrive in a home with older children (around 7 years and up) who can match her energy and playful spirit.

Queenie is very active, so her ideal home will provide plenty of opportunities for exercise, whether it’s running around in the backyard or chasing her favorite ball. When that ball is in her mouth, you can bet that’s all she’ll focus on—she could play for hours if you let her!

This pretty girl is house trained and crate trained, and she’s excellent at keeping her crate clean. She’ll need a routine in her new home, especially when it comes to outside time, so she can stay on track with her potty habits. She’s also great in the car, making her the perfect travel buddy for your next adventure.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
