Tom was an owner surrender and is now doing great at his local foster home
Tom is a seriously charming boy built like a potato with the grace of a bowling ball meaning he is quite funny with a bit of clumsiness. However, he is also proof positive that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover: He is truly amazing with a rockstar temperament!
This pup is great with other dogs, and would enjoy a canine buddy, but he is also very people-oriented, and would do well in a home where he is showered with love and affection, which he truly deserves.
Tom is housetrained and perfect in his crate. His foster leaves the door open for him and he enters on his own at night.
Leash training is in process.
His manners are a little rough around the edges, but the more he feels secure and confident, the more refined his behavior becomes. He is a good listener and wants to please.
Tom is quite playful, active and also loves water. He actually had a blast paddling away in a puddle that had formed in the backyard of his foster home and he loves the ocean!
Check him out trying to figure out what washed up on shore (it's a horseshoe crab...LOL)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
