Rhain

Rhain is a beautiful black lab/pittie mix with a sweet personality and a sensitive side. She can be shy when meeting new people and may feel nervous in unfamiliar situations, so she’ll need a little patience and understanding as she settles in.
Give her the time and space she needs, and she’ll have the chance to show you the lovely companion she can be.

Once you’re in her circle, Rhain loves the simple things in life.
She enjoys going for walks, snuggling with her people, eating yummy food, and just spending time with those she trusts. She does have energy and enjoys running around and needs daily walks and possibly hikes. She’s also quite the talker, so be prepared for some adorable conversations!

Don’t let her shy side fool you — Rhain is one smart cookie! 🧠 She knows sit, down, paw, stay, roll over, and play dead. She’s a clever girl who enjoys showing off what she knows, especially when tasty treats are involved!
She also takes her neighborhood watch duties seriously, alerting you to sounds and people or dogs passing by. We’re working on quieting down when asked!

Rhain isn’t a fan of car rides and would prefer not to be crated. Thankfully, she isn’t destructive and would love a home where she can relax comfortably
She will thrive in an active, patient, loving household that respects her boundaries and gives her time to settle in.

Rhain is a clever, loving girl who deserves someone willing to see past her initial shyness and let her shine. Could you be her person?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.

Adoption fees cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary. The adoption fee is set at a level that enables adoption; they do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
