Hi, my name is Harmony.

My name Harmony means things that go together well. You and I will go well together!

I’m a 5-year old 39-pound boxer/pittie mix. I’m spayed, up-to-date on shots, housebroken, crate-trained. I know sit, down and out it. I’m working on my leash manners and I’m a smart girl. I am aattending an active dog training class and learning all kinds of new things.
My favorite thing is to snuggle, spend time in a yard and I LOVE to sunbathe so a sunny spot in your home with a dog bed would be nice.

My life was recently turned upside down when my dad of 4 years had to bring me back to Adore-A-Bullie rescue due to a family medical emergency. I was heartbroken having lost the only home I ever knew. For the first few weeks, I was sad, but I eventually realized that my foster home was ok and I blossomed into a funny girl who loves bum scratches. My previous home was quiet and I didn’t get out much so I am adjusting to the new world I’m being exposed to. I get overwhelmed in new busy environments, so I will need someone who is willing to understand this and help me through it. For this reason, I would prefer a quiet home with someone that will dedicate time to just enjoying how loving I am and take time getting me used to the new area. I do, however, LOVE to hike in the woods where it’s quiet and there’s lots to sniff and see. Once I’m comfy though, watch out…I get really silly! I might be 5 years old, but I often act like a puppy and enjoy playing fetch.

I have been fostering with other dogs, but I prefer to spend time with my foster people over the foster dogs so I would like to be an only fur-kid. I prefer my people all to myself and trust me when I say, I’m all that you will ever need! I would prefer not to live in a busy neighborhood and would love a quiet home with a fenced yard. My ideal adopter would have some behavior experience with rescue dogs like me and who understands how to help me succeed in new environments and with new people. Once you are “my person”, I’ll show you my goofy face, happy sounds and a warp speed wagging tail. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping me through things and seeing how proud I am of myself!
