Words to describe Marlow:
Sweet, snuggle bunny, silly, playful, gentle, love bug, doggie snores, chillin on the deck, ball playin, wet kissesMeet Marlow, a gorgeous 4-year-old Pittie fostering right here in New England!.

Marlow is a total sweetheart, who was adopted as a puppy, and unfortunately is once again looking for a home after deciding that babies are not her thing. Older children yes, tiny crying humans not so much.

This athletic, smart, and very goofy dog is looking for a family with a cozy couch to snuggle all the time. No, really, all the time. Even if you are in a meeting sitting in your desk chair, she will try and climb into your lap and introduce herself to your coworkers. She loves fetch. I mean LOVES fetch, so a willingness to throw the ball is a must. If you are unable to play fetch she is happy to play with the ball by herself by getting it stuck under the furniture and then getting it back out. Yeah, it doesn’t make any sense to us either, but if she’s happy we’re happy.

Marlowe is crate trained, hasn’t caused any mischief in the house, and knows most basic commands. While she loves making new human friends, she is not a fan of other dogs. Although Marlowe had a dog sibling when she was first adopted, when that dog passed she started having issues being around other dogs. She is also reactive on leash, which she is working on. She is definitely lacking some social skills so will need a family who can keep practicing her manners with her, but she is very smart and a fast learner.

If you are in need of a very pretty pittie who will give you lots of love and kisses, apply for Marlow

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
