Are you looking for a cuddly, snuggly, all around lovely new best friend?
If this sounds like something that’s missing from your everyday life, then you have to meet Jade! Jade is the absolute most loving and affectionate dog that you will ever meet. She is the perfect example of a dog that is truly appreciative for being rescued. She loves everyone that she meets, and everyone that meets her loves her instantly.

Jade was living as a stray in a small rural Mississippi town for most of her life. She, along with several other dogs, lived on the streets, finding shelter under the porches and awnings of the small downtown businesses.
The patrons of the town would often share their leftovers from local restaurants with her and the other dogs.
They learned how to survive on the streets, until one night, their lives took a drastic turn around. A fire started, engulfing all of the surrounding buildings and businesses; only burned rubble remained.

These poor dogs were now living within the rubble of the burned buildings. They were in poor shape by the time that this was discovered; hungry, dehydrated, dirty, and scared. The city officials quickly notified one of our southern rescue partners, and they immediately got the dogs and took them into foster homes. They are now healthy, happy, and ready to find their forever families!!!

Jade shares the home with several foster siblings of all ages and sizes, and she is great with all of the other dogs.
She’s gentle and tolerant with the smaller puppies, and playful and affectionate with her adult siblings.
This gal is not food or toy reactive at all, and has never shown any kind of behavior problems at all.

She is also very gentle and loving with small children and cats. She loves time alone in her large crate, and never refuses to go into her crate or cries to get out.
Jade is also completely housetrained.

Foster is now working on leash training, and she’s making good progress. She was leash shy in the beginning, and would roll over onto her back when a leash was applied. She is now much better with the leash, and will have it mastered in no time.

This girl loves dog toys….something she had no idea existed. Her favorite toys include Kong plush animals, Kong treat-filled toys, and flavored chew bones.
She also enjoys playing in her puppy pool in the back yard with her siblings.

BUT, Jades favorite activity by far is snuggling with her human family, on the couch or in their bed, and getting nonstop belly rubs.

She is truly a great girl, looking for a family to return the love that she’s so eager to give.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
