Lisa
Age: Young
Gender: Female
Breeds: Labrador Retriever, Crossbreed
Look at this beautiful, golden colored sweet and gentle girl with a heart full of love!
Originally named Lisa, she has quickly embraced being called Lexi by her foster parents and is hoping to find her forever family.
She’s a big fan of belly rubs—you could rub her tummy for hours, and she wouldn’t mind! Lisa is incredibly affectionate and loves snuggling with her humans, making her the ultimate cuddle buddy.
Lisa enjoys car rides and is eager to be your errand companion. She’s also very smart, knowing how to sit and shake on command. And she is also already housetrained.
Her calm personality makes her an easy-going companion, but she does enjoy stretching her legs with a good walk or play session.
While Lisa adores children and other dogs, she can sometimes forget her size and get a little overexcited. She’s great on a leash and loves taking walks. Her loving nature sometimes leads to jumping up for hugs, but she’s working on her manners.
As a playful pup, she occasionally chews on things she shouldn’t, but she’s easily redirected with a toy.
Lisa’s heart is full of affection, and she’s ready to share it with a family who will give her the love and care she deserves. Could that be you?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
