Foster Update - S’more’s foster mom says she’s doing so well! She is working with a trainer to teach her that humans do not play like dogs so we do not ruffhouse with human friends! She is so smart and doing great and still LOVES to play with her canine and human friends alike and walking great on a leash.

Introducing S’mores, fostering right here in New England, a spirited 1-year-old pup with a heart of gold, ready to find her forever home!

Despite a challenging start, S’mores has bounced back beautifully and is now thriving in every way. S’mores is a social butterfly who adores playing with other dogs, making her the perfect match for a home with a canine companion who shares her zest for playtime. She’s mastered basic commands and is making excellent progress with potty training, showing just how smart and eager she is to please.

Her adventurous spirit shines through on walks, where she’s learning leash manners with enthusiasm alongside her foster sister. S’mores is a lover of all toys and cherishes her time with humans, showing endless affection and loyalty to those around her.

While S’mores enjoys her playtime, she’s also a great companion for car rides, demonstrating her adaptability and calm demeanor. She’s a more active dog who would thrive in a family that can match her energy and provide plenty of exercise and stimulation.

S’mores would do best in a home without children, where she can continue to blossom and bring joy to her adopters’ lives.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who has conquered adversity with resilience and grace, S’mores might just be the perfect addition to your family.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
