Millie
Age: Young
Gender: Female
Breeds: Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Crossbreed
Meet positively gorgeous Mille!!!
She was rescued as a month-old puppy and then found her way to a foster home where she has six canine siblings/mentors/playmates.
In that environment, she has become a happy, well-behaved, fun-loving puppy.
She is smart, cuddly, very cute, and has good house manners.
Millie likes to play with balls and toys, enjoys playing with her siblings, walks well on a leash, and sleeps all night in a crate.
She is a pro at tug o’ war, keep away, and tussling. She is used to being in and out all day long with her friends, and has a huge yard to run and play in. She will do best with active, fun-loving siblings to romp with!
Millie does have bit of dominance and would do better in a home that does not have a bossy female canine.
She also sometimes gets overly excited/too tired and needs to be encouraged to stop and nap awhile, which she is more than happy to do when rewarded with a treat for going to her crate.
Mille is already very good with commands like Sit and Come, and is treat motivated, which is great for further training.
And this gal actually sometimes wants to be your lap dog. Believe us….it will give you such pleasure since her amazing velvet fur is a joy to pet!!
This girl will easily adapt to a loving home where she gets lots of attention and exercise.
Don’t wait to apply!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
