Lulu
Age: Young
Gender: Female
Breeds: Crossbreed
Lulu is a beautiful brindle mixed breed dog with super soft fur who is just full of love and personality.
She was found as a stray in Memphis and was picked up by the local animal shelter. It was discovered she had broken free from a tether and that her collar was embedded in her neck. At high risk of euthanasia, she was pulled from the shelter by a local rescue.
Despite her backstory, Lulu is just a doll. She loves to play and check things out with her nose. She is extremely smart and observant and seem to track smells. She is not a fan of squirrels and may be part hound with her treeing skills.
This sweetie was initially a bit nervous when introduced to other dogs, but after some time she is getting much better. Foster will continue to perform meet/greets. Her trainer feels she just didn’t have much socialization when young so with training and slow introductions she may become comfortable.
She has learned may commands and is crate and house trained. She loves to ride in the car, if you need a travel buddy she is the girl.
Lulu is quite the snuggler and wants to be next to her humans as much as possible.
If you can open your home to this girl, please apply now.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
