Meet Mariposa, who was given this name by her rescuer because she has a white butterfly shape on her chest:) (Mariposa is Spanish for butterfly)
She is such a precious girl and just the best all around puppy!!
Mariposa was found as a stray at only 5 weeks old. She wandered into the parking area of a business. A kind man who worked there picked her up. Word was put out about her and she found her way to a foster who just adores her.
She is great with other dogs and currently lives with and loves her three Boston Terrier foster siblings.
She loves to eat and play and does well crated.
Foster mom says Mari has the most mesmerizing eyes and the absolute cutest ‘aroooo’ bark when she wants to play. And boy, does she love her toys!

Mariposa already walks on a leash well and is doing great house training!

Puppy Adoption Fee: $550.00 (includes spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England. We can provide a list of low costs SN clinics to adopters when requested.
Adoption fee also includes transport fee.
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.
PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??
