Apollo and his companion, Aspen (also for adoption) are such a sweet dogs who are looking for their forever homes! They love all people!!

This pair were found on short leashes tied to a tree….no food, water or shelter, basically skin and bones. They were quickly rescued from that situation and taken to be vetted. Both are now ready to find loving adopters to show them how they should be treated and loved…..either together or to separate wonderful households.

Apollo been good with other dogs and kids 8 years and up (no small children in his foster home). He did not pay much attention when he saw a cat, but has not been in close contact with one as of yet.

Apollo is on the energetic side when he first sees you, but it is just because he is sooooo happy to see you and wants some loving.
He does great in her crate with no accidents. He loves to hang outside on pretty days, so he can stretch his legs and enjoy the day playing.
The few times he has been in a car, he did just fine.

True to his breed, he is extremely smart, so he will learn fast.

A perfect home would be one that considers these pups to be cherished family companions. Husky experience always a plus.
A big fenced yard would also be great, but not required, as long as they get a good amount of exercise.
And, of course, we would want them to be spoiled with toys, treats and well deserved caring love.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
