Queen is such a sweet girl who appeared to have had a hard life. This gal is now ready to find a loving family of her own.

Queen was thought to be dumped in rural Texas. She was noted to have a permanent scar on her neck where she was likely chained outside. Attempts to locate her “owner” were unsuccessful…but that was probably for the best. A local vet put out the word about her to some rescues and we could not say no to that precious face.

Queen is quite the couch potato. She is not looking for an overly active family, although she enjoys short outings.
She rides well in a car, no sickness to date.

Though initially just a tad shy, Queen meets strangers fine when they come into her home or when she goes to someone else home. She loves people!!
She has not been around toddlers or young kids, but has loved older kids and every adult she has met on her outings.

This girl has done well with all dogs she has lived with except one who was old, deaf, and had a harsh, shrill bark. She loves to play with her doggie friends and run the fence line with them.
But her true love is laying on the couch and getting belly rubs….sounds fine to us!!
She did okay with a cat test (ignored them), and has been introduced to a tiny puppy with no issues.

Queen still pulls some on a lead, but is learning what it is liked to be leash walked and so enjoys it.
She is almost housebroken and is let out at least 3 times daily to avoid accidents in the home. She sometimes will wee-wee a bit when excited.
Goes into a crate without issue, but doesn’t really need it.

Queen will just flourish in a loving home.
