The best face ever!  Glenda

This English Bulldoggie girl had a life before rescue we don’t want to know about- she, her baby and another female were dumped out of a car in a parking lot in Memphis  - they just let them out of the car and drove away.  Luckily a really good person saw this happen and contact his girlfriend with rescue ties- the next thing we knew we were the happy new caretakes of these beauties - Glenda, Gollum her baby, and Dorothy.

All were in tough shape - the ladies have been clearly overbred with no vet care we don’t believe - Glenda has required an ACL repair, teeth extractions and cleaning and a spay -she is doing so well and is just a delightful funny dog - very true to the breed.  Her baby and Dorothy have also been listed for adoption (and may be adopted by the time you read this.)

So far Glena is doing amazingly well with the new dogs in her foster home - she loves her baby and they have a bond but she’s been venturing out more and more on her own.

It’s clear these dogs were never treated kindly or taught anything - her housebreaking has been a chore but her foster family says the are just about there.

Bulldog experience for this girl and her friends is a must - she is true to her breed - stubborn, smart and absolutely adorable but stubborn - did I say that. People with breed experience know what to expect as these dogs age vet wise. Most important for this little lady is that she stays at a healthy weight given her bones and her recent leg repair. We cannot stress that enough. She can be timid and easily startled so due to this she needs to be in a home with children over age 12.

If you are looking for a sweet lady who just needs a little patience as she learns to be part of a loving family Glenda is your lady. With patience and love no magic wand will be needed.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
