Goodrich Jr. What a name for a gorgeous, inside and out Senior Husky! Goodrich is sweet as pie, calm, quiet, loves people, kids, other dogs, and his comfy, cozy blankies and beds.

This sweet boy would love a home to call his own where he can be the center of attention, cuddle up with his person and spend his time knowing he is loved. Never being let out to fend for himself on the streets. Enjoy his outside time. And did we say, to be LOVED?!!!

Just look at him:

You will not be disappointed with this beautiful creature, with a beautiful soul.

Goodrich is a senior gorgeous Husky who was found as a stray in Memphis. Believe it or not, Goodrich Jr. was on the euthanasia list :( But it was obvious to the shelter staff that he had a home at one time, but no one was looking for him and off to a foster home he went! (Thank you Whitney!)

Goodrich does have hip dysplasia. He is taking the usual old man meds and supplements to help him on a daily basis. One floor living is best for Goodrich. He can do a few stairs, but full flights are a no go. He likes to meander around the yard a bit, play just a little with the other dogs, and take nice leisurely strolls where he can do his sniffies, take his time, and just enjoy being outside. But then it is cuddle up time on a nice soft comfy bed.

He was living with children and had zero issues. He seems to love kids!! Other dogs are fine. He is respectful. Doesn’t play much with them. Seems to like dogs his size. Can be a bit unsure of small male dogs for some reason.

He is a little protective of his food. Often happens when one must fend for himself. This is easily managed by just feeding him separately from the other dogs in the home. In his new foster home, we have not seen an issue with this.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
