Little Ms. Willow is full of personality and so are her ears.

This little lady is still under a year old. She is full of energy and loves to just explore the world.

Willow loves walks, the hose, running around the yard, chewing on toys or just snuggling up to someone. She just wants to meet everyone and show off her ears.

Willow is currently fostering with five other dogs and a human child and is doing great. She is working on not jumping when she meets people, which will need to be continued when she is adopted. Her energy level may be a bit high for small children at this time. She is one smart cookie and very food motivated. But she does like to test boundaries and does need positive but consistent guidelines. Once she knows what is expected she does well.

Willow attends daycare, and hikes to get her energy out. She does will in the crate over night with a hard chew toy. We are still working on crating her during the day, she is a little dramatic when she doesn’t get to go in the car. But with hard chews, a soft blanket and a white noise machine she does settle down.

Willow loves going for walks and being in the car she either naps or likes to look out the window.

Willow does need slow introductions and a human to guide her on play in the beginning with new dogs.

This girl would love an adventurous family, and a good hard chew selection because stuffed toys do not last very long.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
