Meet our beautiful lab mix girl, Moya! So majestic looking!

Moya came to her southern foster from a family who had a pregnant mom dog dumped on them. They tried to give the puppies away, but since they live way out in the country, they didn’t have much luck.

Moya was such a sweet girl and played so well with other dogs that her foster decided to help the family find Moya a home, and she brought her home to foster. We are so glad she did!

She is good with other dogs. She was tested with cats and totally ignored them them. Check it out!

This girl is not super jumpy but she does when she gets excited, and because of her size, she would have to be closely supervised near small young-ins as she may accidently topple them over.
She has not been around a lot of men, but her original home (where mom gave birth) had a young man who she loved.

Her first family had a 4’ fence, and Moya kept escaping, but she has no problem with her foster 5’ fence. So she needs at least a 5” fence or to be on leash at all times. She is still learning leash manners and gets to go on a walk several times a week now that the hot Texas summer is over.

Moya doesn’t potty inside but has very easy access to the outside. Her adoptive home will need to learn her cues.

She doesn’t spent a lot of time in a crate but does fine when she’s in it. She rides fine in a car but is a little nervous. She has shown no signs of separation anxiety.

Her perfect home would be one with older kids/adults to play with or an outdoorsy family that she could go on walks with.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
