Betty, along with her sister Wilma, (also for adoption) were part of a litter that was dumped in a parking lot. Their current foster was able to get them into his car and to to his home.
These babies play constantly, but are quite timid with people right now, so they will need a home that has the time and patience to allow these sweethearts to feel safe and secure and allow their true personalities to emerge. It is truly amazing to watch this transformation take place.
These siblings are crate trained, actually love to retreat to their crate. Housetraining is in process and going good as long as they are brought outside on a regular schedule.
They both adore all the other dogs, so we are thinking that a home with a confident friendly dog would help them overcome their fear and build their trust.
Both were curious when exposed to a cat, but showed no aggression.

Puppy Adoption Fee: $550.00 (includes spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England. We can provide a list of low costs SN clinics to adopters when requested.
Adoption fee also includes transport fee.
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.
PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??
