Black and white beauties, Skylar, and her sister, Shaka, Also for adoption) are very friendly girls who just love to play!!

They were part of a litter of 8 puppies born just before Christmas 2022 to a family out in the country. Unfortunately, while foster homes were attempting to be found, 6 of the puppies were killed in the road or attacked by other dogs.

These precious pups are great with other dogs and make introductions easily. They eat with other dogs without any food aggression.

Both mastered the doggie door after about a day, so they learn quickly. You will need to teach and learn cues for when they actually need to go outside, but that should not be a major endeavor.

Their favorite outdoor activity is to playing ball, Shaka will bring the ball back at times. Skylar is another story…LOL

When they were in their first foster home with other puppies, they loved group sleeping in a big crate. Both were fostered initially in a home with a 2 yo child and were fine with her. M
They have had minimal interaction with cats in other foster home, so really unsure if they are actually cat friendly.

This pair have not been left alone to freely roam in the house, but have been left alone with other dogs in a confined area without any issues whatsoever. No separation anxiety seen at all, but have always been left with at least one other dog.
They both enjoy and ride well crated in a car (for safety)

Their perfect home for these cuties would be one with lots of love to give, which you will get back tenfold, and of course, an adopter who is willing to continue with puppy training to make them the best family member possible.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
