Honey Blue is a young, sweet girl looking for her people!
She showed up at her foster’s back door one day and decided that this wonderful family would be her temporary people. The first thing that was noticeable about this blue beauty was her angelic face and her post-puppy body. There were no puppies anywhere.
She shows so much gratitude daily for her humans, the good food, and soft places to cuddle. Honey loves being with people. When you rub her, she lays beside you and goes straight to sleep. She is very loyal to her humans. Honey Blue smiles when she sees you. She is friendly with people and loves greeting visitors and her foster when they arrive home.
When she arrived, she was hungry for love and food. In almost a week, with feeding 4 a day, she is now at a healthy weight.
She loves to chase balls. She Walks beside her foster, comes when called, gets in kennel when asked, and this is HUGE ->no accidents this far indoors or in pen outdoors since she arrived.’
Honey Blue is up to date on all shots and is heartworm-negative. She has been around children and has done well, but because she plays hard and has not lived with young children that we know of, older kids will be the best fit. Honey Blue still needs to be tested with cats, but that is definitely in the works.
She was recently boarded at the vet when her foster family had to move their daughter into college. The staff at the Vet clinic fell in love with her and said she did amazing!
Are you her people? If so Honey Blue is waiting for you to apply!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
