Phoebe-Local Girl!
Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Breeds: Pit Bull Terrier
Phoebe is now local in New England. Her first “taste” of the area was a Dunkin munchkin and she was very impressed!
Pheebs is living the life now after recovering from being severely emaciated with chemical burns and ringworm covering her whole body. Found on the streets of Memphis, she had a whole group of people advocating for her to be saved and saved she was!!!!! She has now made a full comeback and is just thriving!
Flash forward, If you’re looking for a true companion then Phoebe is your girl! She is the perfect sidekick and wants to just hang with her people. She’s pretty laid back and lazy but likes to play fetch and LOVES the water hose!
She lives with four other pups and gets along with them wonderfully. She takes their social cues well and respects their space.
She can be vocal when she’s ready to eat and it’s so funny to hear her “talk”. She’s a bit of a sassy girl with some classic pittie stubbornness to her, but we attest these qualities to why she was able to pull through and survive her tough start to life!
Phoebe gets a little sad when she’s left alone but she is kennel trained and does not destroy or try to escape her kennel when she it put there.
As stated before she just wants to be your sidekick and she LOVES all people
Phoebe is very food motivated and already has learned numerous commands!
She truly will make a phenomenal addition to your family!

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
