Breeds: Labrador Retriever, Crossbreed
Bubblegum, just the sweetest baby girl with the most soulful eyes. She and her sister Bubbles (also for adoption) were part of an unwanted litter that a local rescue became aware of.
Bubblegum has totally stolen her foster moms heart. Her expressions just melt you like butter. Loves to learn and becoming more affectionate and trusting each day. She is really finding her happy paws and confidence.
This girl is progressing well with housetraining and is also crate trained, goes in willingly and crates well when left alone and at night.
Bubblegum is the calmest pup out the litter and the star of the class; first one to learn sit. Loves other dogs and does well with sharing. She is very respectful and good with her adult foster siblings.
She LOVES the water! If you live near a lake, river or ocean, she would thrive going on adventures including water. Just in time for summer…..imagine the fun you could have together!!
BG would do well with any family with children 5 and older and someone willing to continue socialization to help her grow into a well adjusted confident adult. BG would also definitely flourish with a confident doggie sibling in her furever home.

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??
Please consider purchasing this book before adopting. Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
