Meet Timon! Adopting Timon means you get a healthy, 2 year old, heartworm-negative, neutered pup who knows basic commands (including where it is appropriate to go to the bathroom). BUT…. You also get so much more!

Timon is an energy efficient, perfectly safe space heater! Yes, this boy wants nothing more than to cuddle up next to you and keep you warm in the coming winter. He can sleep happily in a large kennel overnight as well, but he prefers to be right next to his humans!

Timon is a personal trainer! This boy loves to go running with you (not REQUIRED) and does really well with a Gentle Leader harness. He won’t want you to ever skip Arm Day either as he loves a great game of fetch. Since Timon has decided he’s a lap dog despite being 78 pounds, your Core is also likely to get a solid workout every day!

Timon is one of those fake security systems! Timon has a REALLY impressive/ intimidating bark! There is NOTHING aggressive to back up that bark, but it IS there. He doesn’t bark at everything, but he will let you know if someone is at your door!

Timon is a Happy Explorer! He loves walks where he gets to sniff everything and enjoy the day. He’s also GREAT in the car. We won’t lie, though. He does NOT read maps well, and he has no idea how to work the GPS! But he’s up for going anywhere with you, so even if you get lost, the company will be wonderful!

Timon is up to date on his vaccines and is local to New England, so he’s ready to become part of your Pack as soon as possible!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
