Meet the Easter Six litter. Five handsome boys and one adorable girl. All happy and healthy pups ready to find forever homes.
This unwanted litter was being given away to anyone that would take them. Our southern rescuers did not want these precious pups to get into the wrong hands, so she approached the owner and he agreed to give them to her to be put in rescue. These babies were found to be all quite sickly, but TLC, meds and good nutrition worked wonders.
Rory is ready to love his way into your heart!
Soooo sweet and snuggly, he is the sweetest of his litter and most motivated by affection from his human.
While he is most comfortable in his person’s lap, he is very curious and is the only sibling to venture out to play chase with the vacuum cleaner. (He is also fond of nibbling feet!)
This boy also LOVES water, so if you live near any, he will be in heaven!!

Rory is such a good-natured dog and will fit in well with any number of family structures. He loves to be held, and we think that will continue no matter how big he gets! Being a very smart boy, he already knows the sit command and is working on leash skills.
If you have lots of love to give and a bed with room for him, too, hit us up with an application.
Rory is waiting for you!

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??
Please consider purchasing this book before adopting. Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
