Let us introduce you to Tiki!
She is a sweet, gentle lady who was trying to take care of her puppies in a pretty challenging area of Memphis.
We thought we found a family who would take care of them, but once we took Tiki for her spay surgery they did not want her back. Her pups have since found homes, now mama is ready.
When her foster mom first met her, she knew immediately that she was a very friendly and happy dog; her tail wagging non stop.
Tiki is very affectionate and loves to be near her person or people. She is crated trained but she much prefers to be laying on a pillow chewing a toy or laying right next to her person. She likes other dogs and is very playful and energetic when outside in the backyard.
This girl loves playing fetch!! She would probably do it for hours if you are game!! As long as there is a big water bowl nearby she is ready to go!! She is pretty darn good at going after the ball but needs a little work on the “drop it” part.
Tiki does great in a crate and on a leash and is a great passenger in the car. She is also housetrained.
She takes corrections well and already knows some basic commands.
She is not aggressive with other dogs when it came to toys or bones but she does like her own space when she is eating.
She has had minimal exposure to kids, did well, but we will put older kids for now.
Tiki has an amazing personality. She has a lot of love and affection to give to that special person or family that will be her hero and give her the chance she deserves.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
