This wonderful girl was found recently in the Bahamas keeping her five babies (listed for adoption) in a pile of rubble by the good people of the Pawtcake Refuge. Frigga was so happy when her rescuers took them all to safety.

Frigga is now in a foster home in New England (arrived 3/9), and she is doing amazing. She absolutely loves to be outside, even if there is snow on the ground but rain, she says no thanks! She is great with other dogs and loves to play with them! She is also a toy collector and will gather lots of toys in her bed. This girl loves to do zoomies but also just to hang out and relax with all of her toys.

Frigga has been enjoying going on walks, but seeing lots of new people is still a little intimidating. However, she is getting more used to it everyday. Frigga will need adopters that are patient and can show her that new experiences (cyclists racing by) are not as scary as she thinks.

She does have some herding tendencies, so we’re saying no young kiddos for this one. She has excellent house manners and is housebroken. Frigga is also crate trained and will go in willingly when it is nap time.

Even though this girl has been through a lot, she is truly just a complete sweetheart.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
