Just arrived to New England. - most gorgeous boy!
And yes, his name is Handsome because the shelter staff said he was and that’s the first thing they thought when they brought him in.  So imagine what he looks like in person!!

While he was at the Memphis Animal Shelter, he was rated a 10/10 in terms of getting along with dogs and humans. Cannot get much better than that.

This guy is a big boy at 82 lbs but is one of those gentle giant lovebugs!  He played with his previous senior foster sister so gently (see video) - it’s adorable.

His New England foster mom is already seriously in love with him. Says he has the best temperament along with unlimited amounts of love to share with his forever family!

His exact age is unknown, but he can still play like a puppy when wrestling with his friends.
Ted also likes to lounge after a walk. He has moderate to low energy, but will still need consistent exercise. A household with large breed experience would be ideal.

This boy is both house and crate trained and is great in the car.
Foster mom is working on his leash manners, mild leash reactivity, and basic obedience. His adopters will need to commit to continuing his training.

Foster mom does have one complaint - he’s always trying to sit in her lap - as is with most dogs, he doesn’t understand his size.

If you are in need of a Handsome loving big guy best friend, Theo will be waiting for you to apply.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
