Ringo is a very outgoing, playful, affectionate pup who craves attention.

Ringo came to his foster mom a matted mess. He was dumped in a nearby town; luckily, one of his foster mom’s previous adopters found him and contacted her to take him.

Ringo loves to play with all the other dogs in his foster home, his favorite game is chase. While he would be fine as an only dog, he would love to have another dog in his home, especially one with the same medium to high energy level he has. Once he finishes his game of chase, he loves to cuddle and get some special mommy time from his foster mom, He has the best of both personalities, he is an active high energy cuddle bug. What could be better?

Crate training is going great. He sleeps about 7-8 hours before he starts whining to go potty. . House training is still a work in progress. Foster’s mom is sure he will get it with continued time and patience. He is a solid dog with no anxieties or separation issues. He is still a puppy and like all puppies will need someone committed to continuing his training.

Ringo will do great with any family that likes a happy-go-lucky type of dog. He would do great in an active family, hiking or long walks to use up some energy. He seems to be happy to have anyone’s attention and love!

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??

Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.  Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
