Are you looking for a goofy love bug? Who thinks she is a lapdog? Then look no further. This one Brown-eyed, one Blue-eyed Princess is your girl.
She just wants to be loved and has so much love to give.

Princess had spent her short life on a chain. She was finally surrendered; very thin and with an old untreated injury to her left forearm from being hit by a car. Since it is that is healed and causes her no disability/issues at this time (other then an occasional limp), it was decided to defer from surgery since the vet thought it would cause more trauma than good at this point.

This girl has medium energy; loves to play in the yard, go for walks, and to explore.

Princess does need to be introduced to other dogs slowly. She prefers male dogs and actually is good friends with a male lab mix when she was in daycare. She does best with calm submissive dogs. She gets upset if other dogs jump on her or get in her face. With continued training and patience, this may improve.

Due to her being wiggly and strong, we are saying older or no children for now as she might accidentally knock little humans over in her excitement.

Here is her report card:

-doing great and adapted quickly and chooses to sleep in her kennel
-goes in her kennel and sits and waits for her food
-learning to play with toys
-rides perfect in car, jumps right in
-very smart; already understands sit, paw, go to kennel, come, load up/down (car)
-loves to give kisses and cuddles
-no potty accidents inside, goes to door
-a little tentative, but no aggression meeting other dogs that have a calm personality
-doing great with leash training
-super human friendly at Tractor Supply Store
-amazing girl!

This girl is looking for a loving, patient family who can help her learn what it means to be treasured pet and love life.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
