Smilie is a playful and obedient dog that would be a great edition to a family.
She’s incredibly smart and learned how to sit, shake, lay, and roll within just a few hours!!
The name Smiley comes from her curved mouth so she looks like she’s always smiling.

Smiley was saved from being euthanized at around a year old, even though she has never caused anyone harm. Her current owner was elderly and really could not care for her the way she needed. Thank goodness she became known to our southern rescue partner before this took place.

Smilie lived with multiple cats and dogs at her previous home. She also stayed inside majority of the time but when she was let outside, she kept getting out over a very low fence.

A perfect home for her would be somewhere she could roam, or go on walks consistently to stretch her legs. A caring and attentive family would work great for her since she loves to interact with others.

Smiley is gentle and takes her time getting to know other dogs, cats & kids. She gets along well with other animals as long as they don’t show any aggression towards her.
She has had several play dates with other pets and has been friendly and curious.

Smiley has been around many kids and some babies, and has done exceedingly well. The kids have led and ran around playing with her.

She is also a great car rider and tends to relax and take a nap or enjoy the scenery.

Smilie gets alot of attention when she goes out in public because she is such a sweet and beautiful dog!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
