NOW FOSTERING IN NEW ENGLAND!
And her foster family is madly in love already!!!

Meet Bambi! This girl is the most loving, friendly, forgiving, resilient pup on earth!
And we just found out that she loves to run in the snow:

Yes, she is crate trained, housetrained, does well in a car and walks well on a leash. She loves all people including children as you can see here: https://youtube.com/shorts/ZjZ_UFi3uRc?feature=share

In June, 2022, Bambi was seen being dumped out of car into a field in a not so nice area of town. Bambi started running through the field; a lady fed her everyday for the next 6 months and initially thought she was a baby deer! That’s how she got her name Bambi!

Bambi disappeared under a house, and had a litter of puppies. Unfortunately, before a foster could be found, Bambi’s pups had been taken. The kids in the neighborhood told us someone came and took all 6 pups:(

Bambi then met another stray friend in the area and we named him Spot. They took care of each other! (He is also up for adoption)
Thankfully, we were able to rescue both dogs.

Bambi is so very grateful to be off the streets, and be safe and warm! She is in a foster home with her friend Spot and they are thriving!

Bambi does have a cracked rear foot pad, but it is healing. And during her spay, pellets were removed from under her skin…so awful, but that is all behind her now.
She is ready for her forever family where she will always be loved, safe and warm!

If you want a family dog and a loving companion, Bambi is your girl!

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
