Introducing Peanut (one of the cutest dogs ever)

Peanut is approximately 4 years old and is full of life and energy. He loves being around people and dogs who will play with him. He’s very tolerant of other dogs jumping on him when playing and also does the same thing right back.

Peanut came to Paws New England via Memphis Animal Services - he was rescued by two young women who just could not let him be euthanized - they arranged to get his heartworm treatment funded and Paws NE saw the post and asked if we could help. We saw some more photos and just fell in love knowing you would too.

He’s is currently with a foster who has a 1 yr old child and shows no signs of being nervous around the child. He has also been around a 9 yr old and done will. Of course with any children supervision is advised until the dog and the child are very comfortable.

He does great on car rides, walks well on leash, is crate trained, and potty trained.

He’s finishing up his heartworm treatment then will be ready for his forever home. The vet staff refers to him as “the most perfect boy ever” if that tells you anything.

This cute block head will be the perfect addition to a single home, family home, or other dog household, however in his foster home there are only male dogs.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
