“I can’t imagine anyone ever giving this dog up - he’s a doll” - this from Higgin’s foster mom here in New England.

Higgins has been with his foster family now for a couple weeks and they cannot believe how he fit in almost immediately; with them, their dog, people coming to visit. Just an amazing boy.

He loves to play with their dog and the kids - see the picture of their children with him - so adorable. At Christmas they had people over so they crated him to make sure he was safe as he was new and the was just fabulous in the crate - zero issues - no barking at the people in the house, growling, nothing - he relaxed and wagged his tail.

If you are looking for a water-loving, ball-fetching, active lab to accompany you on your adventures, look no further. Higgins is your guy! He will be an amazing family dog.

We are so happy we were able to get this boy from the West Memphis Shelter when they asked.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
