Foster Update: 12-18
obsessed with playing with balls - loves to chase them but also can entertain himself. Great in the crate. Loves hiking and exploring. Great with the other dog. Friendly happy guy.

Haze is a smart and funny dog. He loves playing fetch (preferably with tennis balls) and will bring it back to you, but that doesn’t mean he actually wants to give it to you easily!
He is a very curious dog and does well with other dogs. He loves his girl paw friends! He doesn’t like cats very much. He thinks they are sneaky!

He is funny and has an amazing personality. He doesn’t like to be touched underneath (like behind his arms and stuff), but you can give him head scratches and booty scratches all day! He loves being outside and chilling with you. Whether it’s to play or just lay down beside you and chew his ball. He loves sleeping on blankets!

He’s very good and is potty trained. He comes when you call his name. At first, he didn’t like being on the leash and wouldn’t open up to anyone, but now he loves walking on the leash and loves making new human and dog friends! He is so friendly he has become the tester for new foster dogs! He’s very smart and knows how to sit and if you wanted to train him you could because he’s a fast learner! He gets into routines very well and becomes a pro at them!

He wants and needs someone who will give him love and affection and take him on fun adventures because he loves seeing the outdoors and doing new things! Haze is an amazing dog and companion; whoever ends up with him would be the luckiest person alive.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
