Nala is a gorgeous black lab girl that once had a home with parents and children siblings whom she loved dearly. Unfortunately sweet Nala found herself in a shelter in Arkansas. Since her big journey north to MA she has proven herself to be loving, energetic, and very sweet.

If you don’t want to stop and say hi to everyone you see on walks, Nala may not be the dog for you. She is so friendly, like maybe a little too friendly as she wants to stop and get petted by everyone she sees. Her paperwork said she wasn’t too interested in toys, which we have learned is not true. She loves to play by herself with her rope, and will sneak toys from the closet while you aren’t looking.

She still has that puppy energy and needs a home with plenty of opportunities for play. She loves other dogs and is mostly housetrained. Although she needs some basic obedience training she’s a fast learner and VERY food motivated!

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
