Introducing Luna’s babies - sadly Luna is not around to watch her babies go off to their new homes as she was unfortunately hit by a car - we will make it our mission to make sure they get fabulous homes.

Luna was a stray on on the streets of Memphis being fed by the team of All 4’s Rescue League - they weren’t able to trap her as she had not led them to her babies yet - the person feeding her finally found them and the plans to trap her were set in motion but she was injured that same night - unbelievable.

Her babies, of approx. 7 weeks of age, were found and are now safe and sound in a fantastic foster homes Three adorable boys and three pretty girls. Their foster parents are going to be sure they are socialized and are fat and happy by the time they arrive to New England.

Their foster parents have been working on crate training, socialization (they are happy pups) - we guarantee nothing about house training but know they are working on it.

Storm is very sweet and curious. He gets very excited to see you when you have been gone. He loves to run and hide behind plants in my yard. He has learned recall with the words “Come Here”. He is very treat motivated and loves to eat, lay in your lap and belly rubs. He is a typical puppy when he is very tired he will act a little wild then crash. Storm loves attention and being held. He even grunts when you hug/ hold him. Storm is much more of a leader than his brother. He is very smart and trainable. Currently doing well learning to “sit”. He also loves to play with toys and with my 2 dogs.

They look to be short-stocky pups but again, we don’t know who dad was but mamma was a beautiful girl.

Don’t wait too long to apply for one of these adorable babies, fostered right here in New England.

These babies are expected to be in the 70 lb range at adulthood….

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??

Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.  Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
