Rescue dogs know how blessed they are when they’re saved from a bad situation, and Mama Denise is the perfect example of it!!
Denise is showing her appreciation to the people in her life now, and is a healthy, happy, very loving and affectionate girl!!!
She loves to cuddle and snuggle and be near her foster mom.

This precious girl was completely hairless with mange, extremely skinny, and has a litter of 3 day old babies under an unoccupied house.
One of our fosters witnessed the life that she was living, and immediately got her to safety….thank goodness!!

Denise is 3 years old, but is now just learning how to be a dog, and live the life that every dog deserves. She loves laying on the couch or her big comfy dog bed, is crate trained, house trained, and walks very well on a leash.
She gets along great with all other dogs, is gentle and loving around children, and never meets a stranger.
She enjoys playing with her foster siblings outside, end enjoys long walks with her family. She also likes car rides, and is calm and well behaved.
The only thing that Denise is not fond of is cats. She chases and barks at them.

Mama stays alone with no separation anxiety, and usually sleeps until her family returns home.
She loves her treats (great for continued training!), and can be easily bribed with any treat that is offered to her. She hasn’t shown any food aggression with the other dogs at all.

Denise will make a wonderful addition to any family, and is patiently waiting on her happily ever after.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
