Atlan is the absolute most handsome, sweet boy who is the definition of a “big teddy bear.’

He is approximately 2 years old and is dog, cat and kid friendly. He is currently living with a pack of foster siblings, foster cat and two children (8 and 10) whom he adores.

He does excellent with meeting strangers, going on walks and going for car rides.

He is tolerant, patient and looks at you with love in his eyes.

He is crate trained and has learned “go to your room” when it’s time to rest or for a meal.

Atlan’s favorite things are:
-Snuggling with his humans (he is ok with little or big spoon)
- Hugging his humans (which he should work on because he’s a big boy)
- Playing with squeaky toys
-Stealing shoes and slippers
-Snoring competitions with himself (but would love someone to compete with)
-And sniffy walks. He has the loudest cutest sniffer when he turns it on

What to know about Atlan:
Atlan is in the process of getting heartworm treatment
Atlan does very well in a car but might get a bit carsick as he tends to drool a lot when riding
Atlan is strong and big and should have a strong handler (although he is well-behaved and sweet, he still underestimates his strength at times when he is playing and looking for snuggles)
Atlan is fed separate due to living with multiple dogs but has shown no signs of food aggression or resource guarding
He is the goodest boy and deserves the absolute best.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
