Meet Luke! An amazing, fun, happy dog. His motto in PLAY-NAP-PLAY.
Luke was found as a stray in TX and picked up by a long time animal rescuer.
This boy loves other dogs and loves playing outside, rain or shine. Luke lives with foster mom’s personal dogs and he does great being in a pack of dogs. We think he’d thrive with at least one or more other canine sibling.
Luke is very treat motivated and smart, great combo for training. He has already learned sit and doing well learning “down”.
He is working on house training using a magnetic screen door.
He will go in his crate with treats and sleeps quietly all night. But when it’s time to get up, he lets everyone know.
He is progressing well with leash training.
Luke has been around kids ages ranging between 6-9 years and has done well with every child he’s met.
He’s a happy car rider and just loves, loves, loves lap snuggles.
This cheerful boy only needs one more thing to make his life complete…the perfect family!!

Puppy Adoption Fee: $550.00 (includes spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England. We can provide a list of low costs SN clinics to adopters when requested.
Adoption fee also includes transport fee.
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.
PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??
