Meet Cupcake! The sweetest little girl in town.

Cupcake was seen at a gas station eating a cupcake wrapper. That’s how she got her name. She was just a sweet little girl living on Memphis’s big and very busy streets. She was with her dog friend Blue. They both were rescued and came to their foster home at the same time.

Cupcake is sweet and loves children!! She absolutely loves belly rubs and the attention of children! Cupcake loves hugs and kisses. Because of her size and still puppy nature, her family should have kids 5 and older.

She has been exposed to and lived with dogs of all ages and sizes and gets along well with all of them. She has not lived with a cat.

She has grown up to be such a pretty girl. She has very soft hair! She is still puppyish and likes her chew toys. She Loves to play!! She loves to swim in the ponds at the park and take hikes, and does well with going outside to potty as needed. She LOVES being outside so much, she needs a home with a fenced in yard for her to be in, or training to be off leash off a quiet street.

She walks well on a leash. She will sleep in a crate if needed but usually sleeps on the couch with her dog friends. She is house-trained. She has never displayed any separation anxiety. She loves car rides!

Cupcake, aka “Cuppy,” will make a wonderful family pet. Cupcake is a very loyal and loving girl.

UPDATES on SWEET CUPPY: Cupcake is currently 51 pounds and we expect she will continue to grow a bit more!!! While she is sweet and gentle, due to her impending size, she will need a family that does not have children under 3. She’s going to be a big gal. Cuppy gets most of her energy out on her walks at the park and out in nature; she THRIVES having some time the calm of nature, so she will need a home with easy access to green spaces and out of the city. Apply for this loving gal – she has so much to give!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
