Attention New England: Handsome Firecracker seeks a Family for LOADS of activities!

Meet Wuffian! This 1 year old, 51 pound Walker Hound mix had a family in New England, but it didn’t work out as they weren’t able to keep up with him! He would love a very active family and another dog to help him drain his energy!

Here are Wuff’s thoughts:

Sometimes first matches don’t work out, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to find my perfect perfect home! I was a bit rambunctious for my last family, so I will be a little more selective on my next pick. I am working through my adolescence so (as any teen) I may try to push the boundaries a little…but if you like to crack down the law and guide me to be the perfect dog for your family I am your project pup! It won’t be THAT hard as I am a sucker for praise (and treats).

A couple things about me: I love to run and make my opinion heard. Fo-mom is helping me learn my manners like sit, place, and touch (along with knowing how to use my inside voice…what can I say? I like hearing my voice from time to time). I am a chew-aholic so even though I like more shreddable toys…the hard stuff lasts longer.

I love going on car rides, and I am a pretty great passenger. Wherever you want to go I am game! I even share the window seat with my 2 fo-sisters. Speaking of sharing, I share pretty well. Sometimes I like to play keep away and may grumble, but it’s all in good fun. Do you want a welcome home party EVERY time you come home? I will LEAP for joy even if you were only gone for a second.

If you read this far, then take a chance on me, but please be my forever family! I can be a bit much to digest at times, but my fo-mom says I am worth the challenging times because the good outweigh the bad by a long shot.

So, In Summary, this handsome fellow offers the following:

– Will always give endless amounts of love and affection
– Will make you the center of his world
– Always ready for any adventure, and responds with a smile
– Will lend an ear…OR even 2 when you need to vent
– He will help you be your best self by keeping the house tidy and organized to prevent him from getting into things he shouldn’t
– He will get you into shape by being active all moments of the day
– He’s an early rise and shine, so will get you up and ready for the day
– Don’t have to worry about finding a plus one for your bathroom adventures because he will be RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE!
– His love language is physical touch

If you are looking for a happy, sociable adventure buddy who is up for ANYTHING, then fill out an application below! Wuffian would love to meet you!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
